Wellington de Oliveira accomplished his PhD studies in applied linguistics and language studies at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). He is General Director of Integrated Schools “Heart of Jesus-FAINC” in Santo André, SP and lecturer in specialization courses at PUC-SP. He is also member of the research group LACE-Language School and Activity Contexts at this university. His research moves in the interface between the areas of applied linguistics and cultural-historical psychology, focusing on the following topics: Distance education, training teachers in technology and virtual environments, collaboration and critical subjectivity in teacher education.
